So...seriously? How long has it been that I have written on here! Anyways...I am in Wales...Just celebrated my One Month Anniversary of being here on Wednesday. Woo Hoo! Only two more months to go! Sometimes, I wonder why I am here? I prayed and prayed as to whether or not I should come...because my mom got laid off so I was feeling guilty due to the financial situation...well I prayed every night asking for a sign of whether not this trip is something I should do....well..I think I got my sign...sometimes I think I may have mistaken it as a sign....but either way I am here for a reason..maybe the reason will become more apparent once I get home. Yeah, deep thoughts by Julie Tapp. So I am little homesick..I will admit that..but I am meeting so many new people! I am also taking some classes I am really excited about. I am taking three religion classes...I am excited cause I feel like I don't know much about religion anymore. They are soo interesting. I went on a field trip with my religion classes to this place called Gregynog. It was this big mansion in the middle of nowhere that we stayed at..very pretty. The original producer of Star Trek and his wife (Herbert and Harrison Solow) came to talk to us about Theology in Films...it was such a great trip..I learned a lot! It was very interesting! So...now I am sick...I have been sick with cold like symptoms since last week..then on this wednesday..I started some pains in my side..I called my mommy...I wanted her! Yeah..I'm a big baby..I still want my mom when I am sick! Anyways...yesterday..I finally went to the doctor cause I couldn't stand the pain anymore..turns out I had a lung infection? But I got some medicine so that makes me happy and it was FREE! Such a good thing about this country...free health care! Well..I am getting ready to go get something to eat with the girls...It's Katelyn's year anniversary with her boyfriend back home so we are taking her out. More to come...later! |
